WANT TO BE IN OUR NEXT CALENDAR?
(WE WANT YOU TO BE TOO)
THE 6 CONSIDERATIONS OF LAMP SELECTION
  1. The quality of your photo must be exceptional for good printing results. We will eliminate any lamps that do not meet this standard prior to posting them on our website for voting.
  2. Outstanding original designs take precedence over reproductions.
  3. If the lamp is a reproduction, we take into consideration how often the lamp has been featured in past calendars. For example, we would not opt for the same lamp on the cover of two consecutive years.
  4. Page setup is a consideration as we can usually fit 4 lamps per page and the lamp colors have to work well together.
  5. Length of calendar: we have 12 months, 4 feature pages and the front and back covers.
  6. As calendars are marketed, we take into consideration the fact that the front and back covers have to attract the buyer's attention and we ask that you take this into consideration when you vote.

Lamp submissions considered for the 2016 calendar should be submitted before February 15th!

The Association of Stained Glass Lamp Artists whose purposes is to perpetuate, improve, and promote the art and craft of stained glass lamp construction.

The Association was born in the mind of Carol Conti. As a teacher of the craft of stained glass, she discovered in her students a desire to go beyond glass crafting to actual "creating" using the medium of glass. She nurtured this desire, and in the process found that the creative intuitions of her compatriots blossomed into masterworks through the sharing and support that is inevitable when like-minded people form an 'association'.

With the help and encouragement of good friends, this dream was pursued and The Association of Stained Glass Lamp Artists was formed. The first meeting, in 1991, was attended by 30 lamp artists from Washington State. Now, in 2013, our membership includes more than 800 artists from twenty-seven countries and forty-eight states.

Membership is $10.00 per year (Cash or Check) or $10.30 per year (Credit Card). ASGLA Membership is renewed annually (January). You will receive a membership certificate as well as a quarterly newsletters with current updates, tips, and events as well membership in the chat group (optional).
